Which team do you prefer, the New York Yankees or the New York Mets?

I prefer the New York Mets because they are usually the underdogs and I usually like underdog teams to win.

The New York Mets... because I grew up watching Darryl Strawberry play in the minors for the Jackson Mets before the majors picked him up.. and it just happened to be the New York Mets.

This will be my 29th season as a Yankee fan. I got into baseball during the 1976 World Series. I know the Cincinnati Reds (The Big Red Machine) easily swept the Yankees that year, but I became a Yankee fan. I lived on Long Island, N.Y. then and the Mets were atrocious.
If I had to choose it would be Mets.
