What is going on with the New York Mets lately?

They are playing terrible baseball lately losing to teams that they should be beating. Do you think that the Mets will win the divison and make the post season or will they choke and fail to both win the division and qualify for the post season?

1. 2 words: THEY SUCK!!!!!! They are choking themselves out of the division titles, and i really hope they do.

3. Whatever. How can anybody hate on the Mets? They're taking it all this year. I'm not even worried. The Phillies will wind up digging their own graves. And its mental malaise the Mets have hit. Once the playoffs begin... They will have it on lock.
4. I think that they will be fine. They are too good a team not to make the playoffs.
5. If it was any team except the Mets, I'd say not to worry, they're still in first, they'll right the ship, etc etc, yadda yadda yadda. But I've been a fan too long to not expect the worst. Whenever it seems like good things are about to happen, they prove me wrong. Look at the whole season. They've lost so many games they should have won, they should have clinched weeks ago. They still might pull it out, but I just don't know any more. After all, the Phillies aren't doing their usual collapse, so I just can't figure it out. Well, at least football season's here. Oh, wait. I'm a Jets fan, too. Sigh...
6. I believe the Mets will turn it around before it is too late. They must get that starting pitching back up to snuff, however or it could be a very short postseason

8. I don't think anyone should jump ship until they fall behind in the standings. Some Phillies fans are talking as if they've clinched the division already. But who's still in first place?

12. Well, I definitely don't think they will choke, it's just that Carlos Delgado had to get hurt at the worst time! If we had Carlos, we'd be dominating! Its so annoying!
