Who is better, the Philadelphia Phillies or the New York Mets?

1. good question but id have to go with the mets
2. As of the way they are playing, its the Philadelphia Phillies. But if I'm looking talent wise I am going with the Mets. If Randolph keeps managing like a idiot and mixes his bullpen wiser the Mets will slowly start to win away with the division. Otherwise if the Mets keep playing like they have in the past the Phillies will win the division.

4. Recent series aside, the Mets will win the division. Getting Pedro back, even if it is only for 5 innings a start, will give them a lift. The Phillies have a nice balanced team and they seem to play hard, but I am not convinced they have enough to pass the Mets.

7. well,the phils are leading the mets vs phils season series so phillies are better when they play them...everybody thinks the mets are gonna get the division but phils are gonna win it....i feel it this season is different !!!! peace

9. Without a doubt, the Phillies! I picked them as my pre season favorite to will the NL Pennant and I'm sticking to it. They have an outstanding offensive team and as long as their pitching holds up they can beat out the Mets in the East. The Mets seem to be losing heart while the Phillies are on a roll. I'd love to see the Phillies and the Yankees end up in the World Series.
